Setting Objectives
The best way to achieve big goals is to set intermediate goals and then shorter term goals. You can get way too nuanced about it like me, but it doesn’t have to be overly layered. Here’s my method: I start with a Year Theme, then quarterly objectives, then monthly, then weekly, then my daily tasks… each is based on the time frame above it. Yeah that’s probably too much but my brain likes it.
Consider creating a goal setting system for yourself. Don’t do it today – just keep it in mind for when there’s a break in the action. When it’s time, write it all down somewhere so you don’t forget it. Refer back to it often so it doesn’t fade.
